Bomb-Ass Ginger Lime Margarita

Spicy Ginger Lime Margarita

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

I use a standard jigger to measure everything....I think the big side is 1.5 oz, and smaller is 0.75oz but I’m no mixologist so don’t come at me.

  • 4 shots (big side jigger) tequila. We like Casamigos Blanco

  • 4 shots (big side) fresh lime juice. We use the Santa Cruz lime juice that comes in the glass bottle (usually found in the juice or organic section of the store)

  • 1 shot (big side) ginger juice. Also Santa Cruz juice

  • 1 shot (big side) triple sec

  • splash agave

  • 1 shot (small side of jigger) of hot ginger lime syrup from Royal Rose. This is by no means essential, but is quite fab

  • optional—muddle (aka mash up) a few jalapeño slices with your tequila to make it spicy!

HOW TO MAKE IT:

Put all ingredients in a shaker with 4-5 ice cubes. Shake like hell for 30 seconds or so. Pour via shaker strainer top and enjoy! Recipe makes 2 margaritas.
